Setting up with Highlight
This MCP is not yet compatible with Highlight’s one-click setup. However, you can still use it with Highlight by following these steps:
- Download and install Highlight from highlightai.com/download
- Navigate to the plugins tab and select "Add Custom Plugin"

From the repository
Configure the server in Claude Desktop by adding a JSON entry to claude_desktop_config.json with the command npx and arguments ["quote0-mcp"]. Set the required environment variable QUOTE0_API_KEY and optionally QUOTE0_DEVICE_IDS for device aliases. After restarting Claude Desktop, you can send text or images by describing the content in natural language.
send_text_to_quote0
Send text content to a Quote0 device. Quote0 is a smart display device that shows text messages. This API allows you to update the content shown on the device. Rate limited to 1 request per second.
send_image_to_quote0
Send an image to a Quote0 device. The image will be displayed on the e-ink screen with optional dithering for better quality. Rate limited to 1 request per second.

常见问题
Q: 设备没有响应？
A: 请检查： - 设备是否开机并连接网络 - API Key 是否正确 - 设备序列号是否正确Q: 如何知道命令是否成功？
A: Claude 会告诉您发送结果，成功时会显示"Successfully sent"，失败时会说明原因。Q: 可以同时控制多个设备吗？

A: Quote0 使用电子墨水屏，建议使用： - 黑白或灰度图片 - 简单清晰的图形 - 避免过于复杂的渐变注意事项
- API 限制：每秒最多发送 1 次请求
- 设备需要保持开机状态并连接 WiFi
- 图片格式必须是 PNG，会自动转换为 Base64
- 文字内容支持中英文和 Emoji
