Setting up with Highlight

This MCP is not yet compatible with Highlight’s one-click setup. However, you can still use it with Highlight by following these steps:

Download and install Highlight from highlightai.com/download
Navigate to the plugins tab and select "Add Custom Plugin"
Configure the plugin with the settings below

Plugin Name Keyword Research X402

Command (node, npx, python, etc.)

Please refer to the README for specific instructions on how to obtain API keys or other required environment variables.
Enable "Start Automatically" if you want the plugin to start when Highlight launches

Use this when you need keyword ideas, SEO research, or content planning data for a topic. Returns Google autocomplete suggestions, related queries (vs, for, how to, best, what is modifiers), long-tail keywords, and search intent classification (informational/transactional/navigational). Ideal for SEO strategy, blog topic research, and content gap analysis. Do NOT use for page SEO — use seo_audit_page. Do NOT use for content extraction — use web_scrape_to_markdown.
