Setting up with Highlight
This MCP is not yet compatible with Highlight’s one-click setup. However, you can still use it with Highlight by following these steps:
- Download and install Highlight from highlightai.com/download
- Navigate to the plugins tab and select "Add Custom Plugin"

Plugin Name

- Enable "Start Automatically" if you want the plugin to start when Highlight launches
From the repository
Clone the repository, install dependencies with npm install, build with npm run build, and start the server with npm start. Integrate with Claude Desktop by adding the server configuration to claude_desktop_config.json and restarting Claude. API endpoints are called via tools/call using methods such as get-station-live-status and get-trains-between-stations.

1. Clone the repository:

2. Install dependencies:
npm install
Usage
1. Build the project:
npm run build
2. Start the server:
npm start
3. Test the functions:
node --loader ts-node/esm src/testFunctions.ts

Get Station Live Status
- Endpoint: tools/call

- stationCode: The code of the station to get live status for.
Get Train Details Between Stations
- Endpoint: tools/call
- Method: get-trains-between-stations
- Parameters:
- from: Source station code.
- to: Destination station code.
Get Train Details on a Specific Date
- Endpoint: tools/call
- Method: get-trains-on-date
- Parameters:
- from: Source station code.
- to: Destination station code.
- date: Date in YYYY-MM-DD format.
Retrieve Train Route Information

- trainNo: Train number.
