To use AI2Fin's finance MCP server, you'll need to authenticate. Two methods are supported:

- OAuth- Connects assistants (ChatGPT, Claude, Cursor) to the main MCP endpoint
- API Key- For the MCP Inspector development and testing endpoint

Your financial data is private and access is scoped to your account only. Data is encrypted in transit (TLS) and at rest, and you can export or delete your data at any time.

Your assistant works with the data you've added yourself — manual entries, CSV imports, API-created records, and receipts. Data synced from connected bank accounts (open banking) is excluded from MCP tool responses by default, so bank-feed data stays private to the app.
