- Everything Adplane creates is paused. New campaigns, ad groups, keywords, and ads are all created in a paused state. They cannot serve and they cannot spend. You can build an entire campaign structure, look it over, and change your mind, with nothing running.
- Only one tool can start spending. Turning something on is a separate, deliberate action. No tool that creates anything is able to enable it at the same time. Nothing starts spending unless you explicitly ask for it.
- Negative keywords cannot spend. They only restrict where your ads show, so adding them is always safe.
- Deleting is deliberately limited. Adplane can permanently remove a campaign only if that campaign has never spent money, which exists for cleaning up a draft you abandoned. There is no bulk delete, and ad groups, ads, and keywords cannot be deleted at all. To stop something running you pause it, which is reversible.
- Changes are read back. After Adplane makes a change it reads the result back from Google and reports what Google actually stored, rather than assuming the change landed as requested.

The reporting tools cannot change anything. Raw GAQL queries are validated to be SELECT statements only, and the Google API used for reading cannot make changes regardless.
