Setting up with Highlight
This MCP is not yet compatible with Highlight’s one-click setup. However, you can still use it with Highlight by following these steps:
- Download and install Highlight from highlightai.com/download
- Navigate to the plugins tab and select "Add Custom Plugin"

From the repository
Install the server via npm (npm install -g @abhiz123/todoist-mcp-server) or automatically through Smithery. Obtain a Todoist API token from your Todoist account settings, then configure Claude Desktop by adding the server to claude_desktop_config.json with your token. Once set up, you can issue natural language commands to manage tasks.
